Accuracy & sourcing

ASE test facts — question counts, content areas, Master groupings, fees, prerequisites, and the 5-year recertification cycle — are taken from the official ASE source at ase.com and re-checked when ASE updates them. We do not copy these facts from competitor prep sites.

Use of AI

We use software tools to help draft and organize content, but every published page is reviewed and fact-checked by the editorial team against primary sources before it goes live. We do not publish unreviewed machine output.

Independence

AutoTech Prep is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ASE. Our description of any test follows the official source regardless of what we sell.

Corrections

If you find an error, email us (see contact) with the page and the issue. We verify against the official source and, if confirmed, correct the page and update its "Updated" date. Substantive corrections are made promptly.
