Privacy Policy

This policy covers autotechprep.com and the practice app at app.autotechprep.com. We collect and use the information needed to provide study tools, accounts, optional emails, paid access, and basic product measurement.

What we collect

The marketing-site test finder runs in your browser. The practice app stores account information, study progress, test attempts, readiness results, and paid-access status when you use those features. If you request a fee sheet or recertification reminder, we store your email address and the information needed to deliver that request. We do not send question text, your answers, or your email address to analytics.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure page use and the path from a marketing page through practice, account creation, and purchase. Analytics uses cookies and pseudonymous identifiers and may receive the page, traffic source, campaign, selected exam, broad result bands, and product events. Owner and quality-assurance traffic is labeled so it can be excluded from business reporting.

Service providers

Supabase provides practice-app accounts and data storage. Stripe processes payments; AutoTech Prep does not receive your full card number. Google provides analytics. Listmonk stores marketing-site email subscriptions and sends requested fee sheets and recertification reminders. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

How we use and retain information

We use this information to operate the site and app, save progress, provide requested messages, manage paid access, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and understand whether the product is useful. We retain it while your account or request remains active and as needed for security, billing, legal, and operational records.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the link in any message. You can also block or clear browser cookies. To request access to or deletion of your account or email data, use the address on our contact page. Some transaction and security records may need to be retained.
